Battlestar Galactica for Those Who Remember Pegasus
Battlestar Galactica was a TV show presented by Sci-Fi Channel in the U.S. In March, 2007, the Channel authorities announced about a new fourth season of the show which includes a full length film. The movie version was a blend of all 22 episodes of the season.
The story is set back, because the major part of Battlestar Galactica: Razor consists of the flashbacks, which tell about Battlestar Pegasus and its crew. Part of these flashbacks was used as advertising webisodes on the Internet, each of which was five-minutes long.
Mainly Battlestar Galactica: Razor was made for those who watched the series of the show from the very beginning. It is a reward to the fans of this science fiction novel. The movie might not be very clear and exciting for the ones who just decided to watch it without any knowledge of the show.
Battlestar Galactica: Razor was a nominee of two awards: Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films award for Best Presentation on Television and Hugo award for Best Dramatic Presentation. It also won Visual Effects Society award for Outstanding Visual Effects.
