Universal Pictures presents the third part of the Bourne trilogy, The Bourne Ultimatum. It finally gives us the answers to the questions we had after watching the first two. All three parts are made in the same stile, so the Bourne Ultimatum is also filled up with the phases in different languages and the views of many places in England, France, Spain, Morocco and USA. The budget of the film was high: $110 million!
Bourne Ultimatum was wonderfully accepted by both critics and audience. It received 195 positive reviews out of 210 at Rotten Tomatoes. The movie was rated much higher than the two previous parts of the trilogy in different critics’ articles.
At its first opening week-end the producers realized the money was not wasted on the film, because it made $69.2 million during the first shows. Totally movie’s gross is almost $443 million worldwide!
Bourne Ultimatum was marked with many awards, the main ones of which are the Academy Awards for Best Editing, Best Sound and Best Sound Editing. The other prizes are Empire Award for Best Film, Golden Trailer Award for Best Action TV Spot, People’s Choice Award for Best Action Movie, etc.
