Have Fun with the Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian
After great success of the first part of the Night at the Museum comedy, Shawn Levy has decided to make another one. The Battle of the Smithsonian brings to life already familiar Theodore Roosevelt, T-Rex, the monkey, the Easter Island Head and the Pharaoh Ahkmenrah. However, after some of the exhibits have to be moved to the Smithsonian Institution another Egyptian Pharaoh, Kahmunrah “resurrects” evil characters. Among them there are Russian Tzar Ivan the Terrible, French General and Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte and American Gangster Al Capone. So the battle between good and evil begins!
The critics had mixed opinion about the comedy. Many of them pointed out good work of Amy Adams (Amelia Earhart, one of the first American female aviators) and Hank Azaria (the Pharaoh Kahmunrah). The critics inspire to watch the film if the audience liked the first part because it is “more of the same while being slightly different”. They also called the Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian “a pleasant way to pass 100 minutes” and “a fun show”.
