The 2005 comedy about four-teenage girls, best friends who spent all of their lives together did not just end there. Warner Brothers decided to make a sequel for it and so we have The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2.

The girls are growing up and their problems change, but it does not affect their friendship: no matter what they will always be there for each other. The sequel is based on the fourth novel in The Sisterhood of Traveling Pants written by Ann Brashares, but some scenes came from the second and third novels.

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 has received good reviews. Critics notice that due to the real life friendship of the actresses their acting has been even better and it was easier for them to show the closeness and sincerity of the relationship. Rotten Tomatoes has given it 64% positive reviews, Imbd rated it 6.2 out of 10 stars and Metacritic gave it 63/100.

Usually viewers expect that a sequel is worse than the original. Many critics admitted that it is not so in this case. The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 was the same as the first part: for those who liked it, the sequel would be interesting, fun and enjoyable; those that did not like the original movie would find nothing good in the second part.
